The first clinical preceptor training program was developed for Advanced Practice Provider (APPs), which includes nurse practitioners, physician assistants, nurse anesthetists, nurse midwives, and clinical nurse specialists.

Numerous studies have shown that well-trained clinical preceptors markedly improve key aspects of practice like safety and quality, as well as positively impacting retention, satisfaction, collaboration, institutional perception, resource utilization, and organizational way-finding & navigation.

Each module is at least 50 minutes and grants at least one credit of CE/CME; the entire sequenced program is 25 modules with two bonus modules.

All modules are online narrated presentations from preceptoring experts in their fields and specialties of healthcare. Each module covers key content, subject matter, learning objectives, and case studies.
